Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) has unveiled an elaborate report on the trend of deposit and lending in the Nation’s Commercial banks. This is the data reported as of first week of Jestha, 2079.
The total deposit figure has risen by Rs. 7 billion in the first week of Jestha, and the figure is at Rs. 4377 billion. In the end of Baisakh, this figure had fallen by Rs. 3 billion from the week before that. Rs. 4267 billion worth of deposits are in local currency while the rest Rs. 110 billion is in foreign currency.
