Fine Gold Prices Drop by Rs. 2,700 per Tola

The fine gold market has recently experienced a significant adjustment, with prices declining by Rs. 2,700 per tola. According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 1,42,000 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,44,700 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have also dropped to Rs. 1,41,300 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 2,700 from its earlier price of Rs. 1,44,000 per tola. This reduction follows a recent peak on June 7, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,45,000 per tola.

In addition to the gold price drop, silver has decreased by Rs. 50 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,815 per tola, down from Rs. 1,865 per tola.

Both domestic and international markets are observing this downward trend, with global gold prices at $2,320.00 per ounce and silver prices at $29.45 per ounce, indicating negative momentum in the silver market.
