Fine Gold Prices Drop by Rs. 600 Per Tola Amid Market Adjustments

The fine gold market in Nepal has seen a significant price drop of Rs. 600 per tola. According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 1,42,200 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,42,800 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have decreased to Rs. 1,41,500 per tola, reflecting a reduction of Rs. 600 from the earlier price of Rs. 1,42,100 per tola. This decrease follows a recent peak on June 7, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,45,000 per tola.

In addition, the price of silver has also fallen by Rs. 20 per tola. The current market rate for silver stands at Rs. 1,800 per tola, down from the previous Rs. 1,820 per tola.

Both domestic and international markets are observing this downward trend. Globally, gold prices are at $2,321.10 per ounce, while silver is priced at $29.16 per ounce, indicating negative momentum in the silver market.
