Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Nepal: A Look at Today’s Market Trends

The price of gold in Nepal has surged by Rs. 1,600 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). The price of fine gold now stands at Rs. 1,42,800 per tola, up from yesterday’s Rs. 1,41,200 per tola.

Tejabi gold prices have also increased, reaching Rs. 1,42,100 per tola, a jump from the previous day’s Rs. 1,40,500 per tola. This marks a notable rise in the market, reflecting the volatile nature of gold prices.

On June 7, 2024, fine gold reached a peak of Rs. 1,45,000 per tola, illustrating the significant fluctuations in the precious metals market.

The price of silver has seen an uptick as well, rising by Rs. 20 per tola. Silver now costs Rs. 1,820 per tola, compared to yesterday’s Rs. 1,800 per tola.

These changes in the domestic market are influenced by global economic factors. Currently, the international gold rate is $2,332.80 per ounce, while silver is priced at $29.53 per ounce.
