The NEPSE index closed at 2,239.60 today after gaining 8.03 points from last trading day’s closing. This is a gain of 0.36%. The index had gained 14.37 points yesterday.

The index opened at points 2,240.61 and went intraday low at 2,222.89. It made intraday high at 2,245.42 and ultimately closed at 2,239.60.

222 scrips traded hands via 18,808 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,324,665 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 88.98 Crores in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day’s turnover of Rs. 1.044 Arba.

This is the lowest volume since 20th August 2020. The NEPSE index was hovering around 1400 at the time, with a turnover of Rs 39.31 crore. The government’s implementation of lockdown,…
