ABC Securities Pvt. Limited
ABC Securities Private Limited embarked on its journey on the 10th Shrawan, 2054 B.S. (25th July 1997), marking itself as a pioneer among the first 25 firms to receive a Brokerage License from the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. This historical milestone was followed by another significant transition when the company, formerly known as Khandelwal Stock Broking Co. Pvt. Ltd., changed its name to ABC Securities Pvt. Ltd. on the 10th Jestha, 2066 B.S. due to a change in ownership, which took place on the 24th of May 2009. ABC Securities Pvt. Ltd. holds licenses from key regulatory bodies including the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. (NEPSE), and CDS & Clearing Ltd. to offer stock brokerage services, clearing services, and depository participant services (CDSCL).
The company’s journey began under the leadership of the late Mr. Sajjan Kumar Agrawal, who established a culture of ethics and an unwavering commitment to constant improvement. Presently, Mr. Nitesh Kumar Agrawal and Mr. Yogesh Kumar Agrawal are the sole shareholders of ABC Securities Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Nitesh Kumar Agrawal, serving as the Executive Chairman, oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, while Mr. Yogesh Kumar Agrawal is responsible for the company’s Remote Work Station (RWS), situated in the eastern city of Dharan, Nepal.
ABC Securities Pvt. Ltd. made history by becoming the first brokerage firm to offer its services in the eastern metropolis of Nepal, Dharan, starting from the 20th Mangsir, 2070 B.S. (5th December 2013). The primary objective was to facilitate access to the capital markets for residents residing outside of the Kathmandu Valley, creating an avenue for them to explore investment opportunities. This strategic move not only extended the reach of Nepalese financial markets but also solidified ABC Securities’ position as one of the leading brokers in Nepal, particularly in terms of trading volume among all the RWS operating within the country.
Throughout its journey, ABC Securities has played an instrumental role in the evolution of Nepal’s capital markets. From the inception of the Open Out Cry System to the transition to the semi-automated trading system NEPSECTS, and finally the adoption of the NEPSE Online Trading System (NOTS), the company has consistently collaborated closely with the Nepal Stock Exchange to provide valuable insights and feedback on the implementation of new software systems. In tandem with these advancements, ABC Securities has modernized its IT infrastructure to stay aligned with the evolving requirements of the industry.
Over the past two decades, ABC Securities has maintained its commitment to offering brokerage services that adhere to the highest ethical standards and provide unparalleled client service. The company firmly believes that trust is the cornerstone of a successful business, and in the financial markets, it takes on even greater significance. This trust, particularly in terms of trading and settlement, has enabled ABC Securities to sustain its trading volumes and maintain its position as one of Nepal’s top ten brokerage firms for several consecutive years.
In a continuous effort to uphold industry standards and foster growth, ABC Securities regularly conducts training sessions for its Human Resource personnel, ensuring they stay updated with current best practices and continue to enhance their skills. Furthermore, the company has taken initiative by either conducting or financially supporting various investor training programs, contributing to the development of a well-informed investor community in Nepal.
