The Securities Board of Nepal has permitted stock brokerage companies to run their own Trade Management System (TMS), with the Securities Board of Nepal implementing a separate operating guideline for this purpose.
TMS is a method of linking investors to the Nepal Stock Exchange’s broker system and trading platform (Nepse). This enables investors to place secondary market purchase and sell orders online.
Following the opening of the Nepse Online Trading System (NOTS) on November 6, 2018, investors must register a TMS account in order to trade shares in the secondary market. Stockbrokers are now using the Nepse TMS platform on behalf of their clients.
