Let’s say i put a buy order on a scrip on tuesday, And on the same day i sell my existing scrip. Can i settle the buying price with my scrip sold money?

  1. **Relevant Question:** Bought and sold on the same day recently. Found out later that my broker doesn’t support net settlement. Asked them about it and they said, “We put the money of all sold transactions directly to your account. You pay us, we pay you. But yeah, we don’t enable net settlement via TMS.” Told me that’s their way of doing things.

    I’m not a heavy trader so, I don’t know if I’m missing out on it. Is it essential to have do you think?
