After a long time, I sold some shares and I would like to make sure that process went right.

After shares have been sold via TMS, from MeroShare I need to calculate WACC, then select whether those stocks have been for short-term or long-term. After that, edis is done!

Isn’t that so?

And, also, while calculating, bonus shares are to be valued at 100rs?

Many thanks.

  1. Yes everything you said is correct. And all the data regarding cost price and bonus stock price and WACC of the two is automatically calculated. So, the only thing you need to do is tick everything and click proceed.

However, in the case of stocks that hadn’t been dematerialized cause you didn’t have a Demat ac or it belonged to like your parent or grandparent. In this case you will need to manually update the holding period.
