NEPSE Surges by 49.18 Points, Closes at 2,519.57

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index experienced a strong rebound, climbing by 49.18 points (1.99%) to close at 2,519.57, recovering from the previous session’s 58.93-point decline.

The index fluctuated during the day, opening at 2,473.06 points, reaching an intraday low of 2,443.28, and hitting a high of 2,519.97 before settling.

In today’s trading session, 327 scrips were exchanged through 69,418 transactions, with a total of 12,498,989 shares traded. This activity resulted in a turnover of Rs. 4.81 Arba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) led the turnover chart, trading Rs. 15.64 crore worth of shares and closing at Rs. 437.70.

Five companies recorded the highest gains of 10% each, marking them as top performers of the day. However, Himalayan Hydropower Limited (HHL) suffered the session’s biggest loss, falling by 6.36%.

Sector-wise, the Finance Index led the growth with a 3.80% increase, while the Mutual Fund Index recorded a minor decrease of 0.01%.
