The Dhangadhi Office of Transport Management has reported a record revenue collection of Rs 653.1 million for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS. This marks an increase from the Rs 639.4 million collected in the previous fiscal year.
Acting Chief Narendra Shah stated that the highest revenue source was vehicle tax, contributing nearly Rs 498 million. The least revenue was generated from administrative service fees. Additionally, the office collected Rs 142.7 million from driving licenses and vehicle registration fees, and Rs 11.7 million from route permits and pollution tests.
The office saw an overall increase in revenue collection by Rs 13.7 million compared to the previous fiscal year, indicating improved efficiency and effectiveness in revenue management.
