Have to setup A company in nepal. Not sure if you can set up fdi for sole reason of FD.
And you cannot take back Money easily.
However opening account for indians are relatively easy, and you can open your personal account.
As mentioned, taking money back to India is hard.
A foreign company cannot invest in FDs in Nepal. For that you will have to set up a subsidiary or branch here and I am sure you don’t want to take all the hassles of going through multiple approvals to set up a subsidiary or branch just for the FD interest.
