Can someone share their experience with mutual funds? I’m thinking about investing some amount (rs 4 lakhs around) and not sure if I should FD or MF?
Any suggestions?

We have only a few instruments where we can invest unlike other countries and MFs are also bound to invest in those. Most MFs allocate their funds heavily to the stock market. Currently, the stock market is tanking and the NAV of MFs is also tanking. In the long-term, you could expect around 12-15% return from MFs.
almost same return in FD & MF
MF aren’t reliable. No one can predict the market. Index Funds on the other hand give reliable profits. Sadly, no Index funds in Nepal.
FD for a year.
