Mithila Laghubitta Shines: Q4 Results Show Strong Profit Growth!
Mithila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has just released its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, and the numbers are impressive! Investors and financial analysts are taking note of the significant profit surge reported by this microfinance institution.
The report indicates a remarkable 77% increase in net profit, reaching NPR 84.2 million. This is a substantial jump from the NPR 47.5 million reported in the same period last year. This positive performance reflects well on the companyβs overall financial health.
The companyβs profit growth can be attributed to increased net interest income and operating profit. Net interest income experienced a solid 41.86% increase, reaching NPR 209.1 million. Similarly, operating income also saw a healthy rise, growing by 40.36% to NPR 264 million.
While the Provision for Possible Losses has increased to NPR 32.2 million, the overall positive trends continue to bolster the companyβs outlook.
However, itβs important to note that the microfinanceβs bad debt ratio increased by 2.56 percentage points, reaching 4.69%. This is something to keep an eye on in the coming quarters.
During the period, Mithila Laghubitta mobilized NPR 1.77 billion in loans and collected NPR 1.18 billion in deposits, leading to a total disbursement of NPR 2.96 billion in loans.
Mithila Laghubittaβs paid-up capital stands at NPR 223.9 million, with NPR 204.4 million in the reserve fund. The Earnings Per Share (EPS) has surged by NPR 13.32, reaching an impressive NPR 37.58. The Net Worth Per Share is NPR 191.29, and the Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio is at 42.55.
