Super Khudi Hydropower Announces Annual General Meeting (AGM) and IPO Plans

The board of directors of Super Khudi Hydropower Limited met on September 2nd and decided to hold the AGM to discuss important matters, including the ongoing IPO issuance proposal. The AGM will take place at the company’s registered office in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, starting at 11 AM.
One of the main focuses of the AGM will be to reconfirm the decision to issue an IPO. Furthermore, the AGM will address any requirements for amendments to the company’s articles of association and regulations, as may be requested by the regulatory body, Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). The board of directors will be granted the authority to make such amendments.
Besides the IPO related agenda, the AGM will also review and approve the annual report and financial statements for the past fiscal year. Super Khudi Hydropower Limited previously applied to SEBON on May 12th, 2024, seeking permission to issue an IPO worth NPR 310 million, which equates to 3.1 million shares.
Global IME Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO. Upon receiving approval from SEBON, Super Khudi Hydropower Limited plans to issue IPO shares to the general public and the local residents affected by the project.
