Will someone get calculated dividend in decimal point ?

If I have 50 kitta share and dividend announcement is 12.5%. Will I get 6.25 or 6 kitta share?

    6 kitta. 0.25 will stay pending till there is another 0.75, then you will have 1 unit

    Some company, eg. BPCL, will round off the share dividend and not keep fraction shares, if both cash and share is distributed.

    eg In similar case as above, BPCL would give out 6 kitta share and Rs 25 as cash dividend, or if the share is 6.51, they will deduct Rs 49 from your cash and give you 7 kitta shares.
