The NEPSE Index opened at 2,614.64. It reached a high of 2,616.25 during the day. The lowest point was 2,588.73.
Total turnover was Rs. 4.52 Arba (Arab). Traders exchanged 11,299,334 shares of 345 companies in 70,576 transactions.
Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.57 Kharba. Float market cap was Rs. 14.75 Kharba.
Top Turnover and Gainers in Nepal Stock Market
Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) led the turnover list with Rs. 13.05 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,900.00.
SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) was the top gainer. It rose by 9.99%.
On the other side, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) was the biggest loser. It fell by 10.00%.
NEPSE Sector Performance: Only One in Green
Out of all sectors, only the Mutual Fund sector closed in green. It gained 0.19%.
The Hotels and Tourism sector saw the biggest loss. It dropped by 1.63%.
Most other NEPSE sectors ended in red today. This pulled the overall NEPSE Index down.
